Because of the human problem previously delineated, in other words, that man is completely corrupted and it is absolutely impossible for man to generate any good thing in his sinful nature ROMANS 3:10-19, because of the fact that man cannot produce anything worthy of justification before God, it was God’s desire in His eternal purpose and in His merciful providence to choose and preordain
The Lord Jesus Christ EPHESIANS 1:4-6;1 PETER 1:19-21, His only begotten Son JOHN 1:14-18; JOHN 3:16;1 JOHN 4:9, to be the only, I repeat, the only mediator between God and manJOHN 14:6; 1 TIMOTHY 2:5;HEBREWS 9:15;HEBREWS 12:24;1 JOHN 2:1-2. The Savior EPHESIANS 5:23; 2 TIMOTHY 1:10;TITUS 2:13;2 PETER 2:11, Prophet ACTS 3:22-23, The High Priest HEBREWS 2:17; HEBREWS 3:1;HEBREWS 4:14-15;ROMANS 8:31-34 and the King 1 TIMOTHY 6:15; REVELATION 17:14;REVELATION 19:16; The Head and savior of the Church EPHESIANS 1:22;EPHESIANS 4:14;COLOSSIANS 1:18;COLOSSIANS 2:10-19, the Heir of all things HEBREWS 1:2; ROMANS 8:17, the Judge ACTS 10:42;ACTS 17:31;2 TIMOTHY 4:1; the Lord of all, above all EPHESIANS 1:20-23;PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11;1 CORINTHIANS 15:25-27. To Him, to whom the Father has given for all eternity and from all eternity, people, His seed, to be by Him redeemed, born again of His Spirit JOHN 3:3-7 GALATIANS 3:29;1 PETER 1:23, to be called, justified, sanctified and glorified in Him and through Him ROMANS 8:28-30.
We believe that THERE IS NO SALVATION IN NO OTHER, ONLY IN CHRIST JESUS.
There exists no other person, no other religion that leads to know the true and only God. No other solution for mankind to know God, to receive mercy from God, to be forgiven of sin and to become children of God, if not through Jesus Christ the Lord. This salvation as we have opportunity to see ahead, is by GRACE OF GOD AND FAITH IN CHRIST ONLY. JOHN 14:6;JOHN 10:9; JOHN 17:1-3;ACTS 4:12;ACTS 16:31;ROMANS 3:21-26;EPHESIANS 2:1-10;REVELATION 5:8-9.
We believe that Jesus Christ its the begotten Son of God JOHN 1:14-18;JOHN 3:16;1 JOHN 4:9, was generated not created ACTS 13:33;HEBREWS 5:5;HEBREWS 10:5-7, the second person of the Trinity, He is Himself the Eternal God of the same substance of the Father JOHN 14:7-11;JOHN 10:30. Jesus Himself when the time was fulfilled GALATIANS 4:4, came into the world, became man, God incarnate, in other words He took upon Himself human nature with all its essential properties and infirmities PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8, yet without sin 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21;HEBREWS 4:15; 1 PETER 3:18.
We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of a simple and normal young virgin of Israel named Mary LUKE 1:31, she was chosen amongst the women by grace and not because of any merit of herself LUKE 1:30, even she as Joseph her husband was from the house and lineage of David LUKE 2:23-38. She was a woman who was in all effects a sinner but that Scripture declares righteous by faith in God as her Savior, in conjunction with the righteousness by faith of OT law as well LUKE 2:22-24. Mary herself admitted to have need of salvation and that her salvation was in God, she in all effect denied any perfection to be tied to her human nature LUKE 1:47. She demonstrated to be lacking the fulness of the knowledge of who Jesus was and lack of faith during His earthly ministry before His resurrection MARK 3:21. We do firmly believe that she was an elect of God, preordained before the foundation of the world, to receive salvation through God’s grace by faith in Christ Jesus only. We also believe that Mary does not have at the present time any spiritual authority and is not a mediator of any kind 1 TIMOTHY 2:5, she is not worthy of any kind of adoration, worship or veneration as she is a person as all others, worthy however of respect and certainly she remains blessed amongst women for having carried to birth the Lord Jesus Christ LUKE 1:28;LUKE 1:42;LUKE 1:48.We also declare that any kind of veneration, adoration or worship, prayers offered to or deification of any angel or person including Mary ACTS 10:25-26;ACTS 14:11-18;REVELATION 19:10 is in God’s eyes idolatry and a violation of the first and second commandment and an abomination to God EXODUS 20:3-6. Glory is God’s only and only His is the glory ISAIAH 42:8;ISAIAH 48:11
We believe that Jesus has two perfect natures, distinct and separate, the divine nature and the human nature, but without sin 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21;HEBREWS 4:15. These are united together in one person, without conversion, composition or confusion. In His person therefore He is completely God and completely man HEBREWS 10:5. He is the Christ, the one and only perfect man 1 CORINTHIANS 15:45-49;PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8;1 PETER 3:18
We believe that the Lord Jesus in His human nature is united with the divine although having two distinct and separate natures, He has been anointed with the fulness of the Holy Spirit JOHN 3:34-36, having in Himself the complete treasure of wisdom and knowledge ISAIAH 11:1-5;ISAIAH 61:1-2; MATTHEW 3:16 and in whom the Father has pleasure MATTHEW 3:17;ACTS 10:38 and in Him He dwells in fulness COLOSSIANS 1:19-20.
He only being holy and without sin, pure and full of grace and truth JOHN 1:1-14, so that He could be the only One who could be the executor of the office of mediator JOHN 14:6;1 TIMOTHY 2:5 and guarantor for all those who place faith in Him JOHN 17:1-3;1 PETER 1:3-5;HEBREWS 7:24-28. This office He has not grasped by His own authority, but He has been called to it by the Father, Whom placed in His hands all the power and authority COLOSSIANS 2:10-19;MATTHEW 28:18; EPHESIANS 1:20-23;PHILIPPIANS 2:9-10;1 CORINTHIANS 15:25-27all judgment ACTS 10:42;ACTS 17:31; 2 TIMOTHY 4:1 and He has commanded Him to be the executor of all this HEBREWS 9:11-15
We believe, that Jesus even being fully God JOHN 1:1-2;JOHN 17:5, has in glory His glorified physical body with which He has ascended into heaven ACTS 1:9;ACTS 7:55;EPHESIANS 1:20;COLOSSIANS 3:1;HEBREWS 1:3;HEBREWS 10:12;1 PETER 3:22. This body even though glorious and able to surmount some natural laws , space and time cannot however because of its physical nature be in more places than one at a time at the same moment, we therefore retain that although absolutely nothing is impossible for God in this case He respects the natural laws and Jesus Christ’s body remains seated at the right hand of the Father, considering that He is omnipresent through the Holy Spirit. It is also for this reason that we expect His second bodily coming, when every eye will behold Him and will see Him return ACTS 1:11;1 CORINTHIANS 11:26;1 CORINTHIANS 15:23; 1 THESSALONIANS 4:16;2 THESSALONIANS 1:10;HEBREWS 9:28;REVELATION 1:7;REVELATION 22:20. In Spirit Jesus IS omnipresent, that is why He sent His Spirit to dwell in the church, His Spirit, if He could be bodily omnipresent physically we could all have Jesus walking and talking with us as the Apostles did, there would be no need for the ministry of the Holy Spirit, but we know this is not the case. We believe that Jesus not only has fulfilled all of God’s Law in all of it’s particulars and has fulfilled the will of the Father, He has also offered Himself as a sacrifice, a holocaust for the full payment of the justice of the wrath of God, upon whom the Father placed it entirely on the cross ROMANS 3:25;2 CORINTHIANS 5:21; COLOSSIANS 2:14. Upon the cross Jesus has shed His innocent and pure blood for the forgiveness of the sins of the elect to salvation ACTS 2:39; ACTS 13:48;EPHESIANS 1:4-14;1 PETER 1:2-5;1 PETER 1:18-21, those who God has drawn and will draw to Christ, those whom the Father gives to the Son, of which He will lose none and will raise them on the last day, those who will believe and will go to Christ because they are given by the Father as a gift to Christ, the ones to whom is given by the Father to believe JOHN 6:37-47;JOHN 6:63-71;MATTHEW 16:16-17. We believe that for all those who Christ died and has redeemed from sin and death and for whom He has purchased redemption, is all that the believer needs 1 CORINTHIANS 1:30, He Himself, certainly and effectively communicates and applies the same redemption through the ministry of His Holy Spirit JOHN 6:63;JOHN 16:7-11;1 CORINTHIANS 6:11;2 THESSALONIANS 2:13-14;TITUS 3:4-7. Revealing to them through the written word the mysteries of salvation, with the efficacious persuasion of the Holy Spirit to believe and obey the word of God ROMANS 10:17. He intercedes for them LUKE 22:31-32;ROMANS 8:26-27;ROMANS 8:34. Sanctifying and governing their hearts and minds through the written word and the Holy Spirit ACTS 20:32;PHILIPPIANS 2:12-13;EPHESIANS 5:26-27;2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17, winning all their enemies through the exercise of His omnipotence and knowledge by the renewing of the mind 2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-5;EPHESIANS 6:10-18;COLOSSIANS 2:15.
We believe that Jesus was crucified for the forgiveness of all the sins of the elect to salvation MATTHEW 22:14;JOHN 6:37-47;JOHN 17:1-3; ACTS 13:48, He was after placed in a tomb for three days MATTHEW 16:21;ACTS 10:40;1 CORINTHIANS 15:4 where He remained under the power of death for three days and was not subjected to decay ACTS 2:29-32.
We believe that Jesus on the third day rose from death according to the Scriptures, Jesus risen from the dead in victory over death, with the same body He suffered the flagellation and the cross and with which He even ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father, where He executes the office and task of High Priest and intercedes for the believers, in other words the mediator between man and God, doing this He has defeated the power of sin, the devil and death ROMANS 6:1-12;HEBREWS 2:14;1 CORINTHIANS 15:54-57;1 JOHN 3:8.
We believe that the Lord Jesus in His perfect obedience and sacrifice of Himself and through the eternal Spirit has offered Himself only once and for all the elect of salvation HEBREWS 7:27;HEBREWS 9:26-28;HEBREWS 10:10;1 PETER 3:18, He has completely satisfied the Father’s justice and righteousness and has provided not only reconciliation ROMANS 5:10;2 CORINTHIANS 5:18;COLOSSIANS 1:21-22 but also an inheritance in the kingdom of heaven for all those whom the Father gave Him ACTS 20:32;ACTS 26:17-18;EPHESIANS 1:11-14;COLOSSIANS 1:12;HEBREWS 9:15; 1 PETER 1:4-5.
We believe that from the right hand of the Father He will return bodily on the earth after a period of great tribulation and judgment upon the world to establish His Kingdom on earth Revelation 19-20. This kingdom will bring in the salvation and all the promises prophesies in the OT for the nation of Israel, that at His return will be saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Messiah ROMANS 11:1-36. His Kingdom on earth will last one thousand years and is known as Millennium, it is also called Messianic Kingdom or Kingdom of God REVELATION 20:1-6. At Hie return we believe also that He will resurrect all those who died believing in Him, the elect of salvation and will transform in a glorious and spiritual body in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye with them also all those who believe in Him and are alive at the time, whom will meet Him in the air and will be forever with Him 1 CORINTHIANS 15:51-52;1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-18.
We believe that at the end of the one thousand years from the day of His return to earth there will be the last rebellion of Satan and man, which will end with the final judgment of God. God will judge the living and the dead and will destroy the heavens and the earth, will send all those judged whose names were not found in the book of life, in the lake of fire with the devil and his angles. The lake of fire is known as hell, where the unjust, the sinners will be punished and damned for eternity REVELATION 20:7-15.
We believe that even if the full work of redemption of Christ has not been effected until after His incarnation, the same, His virtues, efficacy and benefits of His salvation were communicated to the elect of previous times, in other words the elect of all ages since the creation of the world. They, whom through the promises, symbols, types and sacrifices always through faith, have believed and seen anticipated in time the salvation promised in Christ JOHN 8:56;HEBREWS 11:4-40;HEBREWS 12:22-24. Already from the Proto-Evangelion the promised redeemer from the seed of woman was prophesied, whom would have wounded mortally the serpent, crushing his head GENESIS 3:15. This redeemer is the Lamb who was slain from before the foundation of the world 1 PETER 1:20;REVELATION 13:8 and that is the same yesterday, today and forever HEBREWS 13:8, recognized as God, waited for and manifested even before His incarnation. (See The Angel of the Lord, in the OT).
